Eggs Benedict

4 servings

30 minutes

Eggs Benedict is an iconic dish of British cuisine that embodies elegance and sophistication. Its origins are linked to 19th century New York when stockbroker Lemuel Benedict ordered something restorative after a long night. The harmony of airy poached eggs, crispy bacon, and aromatic hollandaise sauce on toasted bread creates a unique flavor, combining the tenderness of butter, the slight acidity of lemon juice, and the subtle spice of white pepper. The dish is perfect for morning awakening, late breakfast, or an elegant brunch served with a glass of sparkling wine.
