Crush the cardamom pods in a mortar or place them on a board and crush with the side of a knife, just to break them open.
- Green cardamom pods: 4 pieces

Add ground coffee of your favorite variety (the amount of coffee depends on how strong you like it. It can be more or less than indicated), sugar, and slightly crushed cardamom seeds to the cezve. Pour in clean cold water and place it over low heat.
- Ground coffee: 3 teaspoons
- Brown sugar: 1 teaspoon
- Green cardamom pods: 4 pieces

Boil until it starts to boil, then turn off the heat.
