Oatmeal is a classic European breakfast filled with comfort and warmth. This simple yet nutritious recipe has been loved since ancient times, especially in England and Scotland, where oatmeal became a symbol of health and vitality. In a multicooker, the cooking process is simplified: the oats gently simmer in milk, absorbing its creamy softness. Adding butter gives the porridge a velvety texture while salt and sugar balance the flavors. The finished oatmeal becomes airy, creamy, and warming. It’s the perfect dish to start the day that not only satisfies but also provides a sense of homey comfort. The porridge can be enhanced with honey, nuts or fresh fruits, turning it into a true gastronomic delight.
