Cottage cheese pancakes with turmeric are an unusual combination of a classic Armenian dish and fragrant Eastern spice. In Armenia, dairy products are especially loved, and adding turmeric gives these pancakes a sunny hue and a warm, slightly spicy taste. They turn out tender inside and appetizingly golden outside due to frying in clarified butter. These pancakes pair perfectly with honey, sour cream, or fruit jam, making them a great option for breakfast or dessert. Besides its flavor qualities, turmeric is known for its health benefits including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Thus, this dish not only delights the palate but also benefits the body.
