Granola is a crunchy and nutritious breakfast born from American cuisine. Its history began in the 19th century when dietitians sought healthy alternatives to traditional breakfasts. This mix of grains, nuts, and dried fruits combined with honey and maple syrup is baked to a golden crispy texture. The flavor combines the sweetness of fruits, a delicate nutty note, and light caramelization from the syrup. Granola is a versatile dish: it can be served with milk, yogurt, or simply as a healthy snack. With its high fiber content and slow carbohydrates, it provides energy for the whole day. The combination of ingredients easily adapts to taste preferences, creating endless variations of this wonderful dish.
