Omelet with garlic, Gruyère, and croutons is a refined French dish that combines the tenderness of the egg mixture, the piquant note of garlic, and the creaminess of aromatic Gruyère. Its history roots in French breakfast traditions where simple ingredients transform into an exquisite gastronomic masterpiece. Crispy croutons add textural variety while parsley refreshes the overall flavor. This omelet is perfect for morning enjoyment or a light dinner and pairs wonderfully with a green salad and a glass of white wine. Each component plays its role in creating a harmony of taste, and the cooking process is simple and elegant, just like French cuisine.

1
Finely chop 1 clove of garlic.
- Garlic: 1 clove
2
Grate the Gruyère on a large grater.
- Gruyere cheese: 30 g
3
Beat the eggs with water, salt, and pepper.
- Chicken egg: 3 pieces
- Water: 1 tablespoon
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon
- Ground black pepper: 0.1 teaspoon
4
In a small pan, melt 1 tablespoon of oil, add the croutons (from white bread), sprinkle with a pinch of salt, and lightly fry.
- Butter: 2 tablespoons
- Crackers: 400 g
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon
5
Then pour the egg mixture into the pan and stir in a circular motion with a spatula, avoiding the croutons, until the eggs thicken.
6
Without removing the pan from the heat, sprinkle the omelet with cheese and chopped parsley. Then evenly sprinkle garlic on the cheese and leave the omelet on the heat for about 1 minute.
- Gruyere cheese: 30 g
- Chopped parsley: 0.1 glass
- Garlic: 1 clove
7
Lift the prepared omelet with a spatula from the side closer to the pan's handle, carefully tilt the pan over the plate, and using the spatula, let the omelet slide onto the plate.
