Diet steamed omelette
1 serving
20 minutes
Dietary steamed omelet is a delicate and airy dish from traditional French cuisine, where sophistication and lightness are valued. It is prepared without excess fat and oil, making it an ideal choice for those who monitor their health and figure. Eggs whipped with milk create a soft texture, while a light creamy aroma adds refinement. The steaming method preserves all the benefits of the ingredients, making the omelet easy to digest. It can be served as a standalone breakfast dish or complemented with fresh vegetables, herbs, and soft cheese for a more expressive flavor. This omelet symbolizes morning harmony; it nourishes without heaviness and leaves a pleasant feeling of lightness after the meal.

1
Prepare all the ingredients.

2
Pour water into the steamer (about one third of the maximum) and place it on the heat.

3
Break the eggs into a deep bowl and whisk well until smooth.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces

4
Add salt.
- Salt: 1 g

5
Pour in the milk and mix well.
- Milk: 80 ml

6
Grease the mold with butter.
- Butter: 5 g

7
Pour the egg mixture into the mold. It should preferably not exceed 4 cm in height, as higher levels may retain bacteria in the omelet.

8
If the water in the steamer has boiled, place the mold in it and cover with a lid.

9
Turn off the steamer after about 7-10 minutes, but do not take out the omelet immediately; let it sit for a few minutes. Lift the lid carefully so that water does not spill onto the omelet.

10
Spread butter on the surface of the omelet if desired. It can be served.
- Butter: 5 g
