Shrimp cheese pie is a refined dish of Italian cuisine that combines the tenderness of creamy dough with the exquisite taste of shrimp and the spiciness of aromatic cheese. Its roots trace back to Italy's traditional coastal regions where fresh seafood forms the basis of gastronomic masterpieces. The creamy dough creates a crispy yet tender base that pairs wonderfully with juicy shrimp, dill, and zesty lemon pepper. Baked to a golden crust, the pie emits a delightful aroma, and its velvety texture and harmony of flavors make it an ideal dish for festive dinners and cozy family gatherings. It can be served warm or chilled, complemented by herbs and a glass of white wine for complete enjoyment.

1
In a mixer, combine cold butter (chopped finely), flour, salt, and egg yolks.
- Butter: 150 g
- Wheat flour: 2 glasss
- Salt: pinch
- Egg yolk: 2 pieces
2
Add cold water and knead the dough. It results in a crumbly mass that can be easily compressed into a ball.
- Water: 2 tablespoons
3
Line a 26 cm removable form with baking paper and spread the dough, forming edges. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
4
Place the shrimp on the baked base, if frozen, thaw and dry them first. Sprinkle with chopped dill on top.
- Peeled shrimp: 250 g
- Dill: 1 bunch
5
Mix the eggs and sour cream (I took a 500 g pack, probably used 450 g), whisk to a uniform mass, then add grated cheese and lemon pepper.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Sour cream 20%: 2 glasss
- Grated cheese: 200 g
- Black pepper with lemon zest: to taste
6
Pour the obtained mixture over the shrimp.
7
Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees until golden brown.
