Italian Marinated Tomatoes
4 servings
40 minutes
Italian-style marinated tomatoes are a vibrant and aromatic dish inspired by Mediterranean culinary traditions. Italians love to use simple yet rich flavors, and this recipe is a testament to that. The combination of ripe tomatoes with fragrant herbs, garlic, and spicy seasonings gives the appetizer freshness and zest. Apple cider vinegar and French mustard add depth of flavor, creating the perfect balance of sour and spicy. Marinated tomatoes complement meat and fish dishes beautifully, can serve as a standalone appetizer or refresh the taste of a summer salad. They are ideal for a warm dinner with a glass of wine or a friendly gathering where everyone can enjoy the true flavors of Italy.

- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Apple cider vinegar: 2 tablespoons

Chop the greens and garlic finely. In a bowl, mix the other ingredients for the dressing. Combine the greens with the other ingredients.

We cut the tomatoes into rings. Layer them and coat each piece with marinade. Cover with plastic wrap or a lid, depending on the dish. Send to the fridge for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the appetizer is ready. If you let it sit longer, it will be even tastier.
