Cheese and ham flatbreads are a delightful dish of Chinese cuisine that combines the tenderness of the dough, the spiciness of cheese, and the aroma of ham. Their preparation requires simple ingredients: kefir makes the dough soft, while grated hard cheese adds a rich flavor. The addition of ham adds a salty note, making the flatbreads perfect for breakfast or a light snack. Historically, flatbreads hold a special place in Chinese cuisine as a symbol of simplicity and convenience, with variations found worldwide. Pan-fried to a golden crust, they are appetizing and crispy on the outside while remaining tender inside. They can be served with various sauces or simply enjoyed warm, savoring the harmony of flavors.
