Cupcake Dogs

Kexo-dogs are an original combination of airy corn dough and juicy sausage, reminiscent of famous corn dogs but in a more convenient shape. This recipe is inspired by street food in the USA, where hot dogs in crispy batter are loved. However, kexo-dogs have a European twist: they are softer, more tender, and perfect for family breakfasts or picnics. The sweet corn flour gives the dough a warm, cozy flavor, while the browned crust adds a light crunch. Kexo-dogs can be served as a standalone dish or complemented with sauces from classic tomato to creamy garlic. They are easy to take along as they are compact, nutritious, and require no cutting—an ideal snack that pleases both kids and adults!
