Real Greek Salad

3 servings

10 minutes

The main ingredient of the horiatiki salad is feta, a traditional Greek cheese made from sheep's or goat's milk. Its consistency resembles thick cottage cheese, and its taste has a pleasant, unobtrusive sourness. Unlike the salty and sharp feta cheese, which other Europeans often replace feta with in this salad, it does not overpower the taste of fresh vegetables, olives and olive oil.
