Lobiani rachuli is a traditional Georgian pie with a spicy filling of beans and bacon. Its roots trace back to the mountainous regions of Georgia, where beans were an important food source. The airy yeast dough combines with a rich, aromatic filling that intertwines the softness of beans, the sweetness of fried onions, and the spiciness of bacon. Spices like ucho-suneli and coriander add spicy notes to the dish. Lobiani rachuli is perfect for a cozy family dinner or festive gathering. Its rich flavor, crispy crust, and aroma of spices make it an essential element of Georgian cuisine. It is served hot, complemented by fresh vegetables and flavorful sauces.
