Fried cheese in shell

Fried cheese in a crust is an exquisite dish of Greek cuisine that impresses with its simplicity and rich flavor. The origins of this recipe trace back to ancient Hellas, where cheese was an integral part of the meal. The crispy golden crust enveloping the tender, slightly stretchy cheese creates a perfect contrast of textures. The triple breading gives the crust a special density and richness, while quick frying over high heat seals in the aroma while keeping the inside soft. This dish pairs perfectly with a refreshing sauce, a light salad, or a glass of white wine that highlights the creamy notes of the cheese. Served as an appetizer or a standalone treat, it captivates with its taste and turns each bite into a small gastronomic delight.
