Marinated onions are a traditional component of Russian cuisine that adds a special zest to dishes. This recipe combines the rich flavors of vinegar, garlic, and aromatic spices, creating a perfect balance of sweet and sour notes. Marinated onions are often used as a garnish for meat and fish dishes, added to salads, or served alone as an appetizer. The secret to its delightful taste is the sautéed garlic that gives the marinade depth and richness.
