In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, finely chopped olives, finely chopped tomatoes, and 0.25 cup of finely chopped basil leaves. Place in the refrigerator.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan over low heat and add the minced garlic. Then add the finely chopped chili, squeezed lemon juice, and finely chopped basil. Stir and remove from heat.

Remove the heads of the shrimp and cut each in half lengthwise, without peeling or cutting all the way to the tails. Remove the vein and rinse well. Dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
