Green beans with butter and herbs

Beans are fried in butter with herbs, after which they can be served hot or cold.

Trim the tails off the beans and boil in salted boiling water for 2 minutes, then quickly transfer to a bowl of ice water to preserve the color. Drain and dry well with a paper towel.

Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat and sauté the finely chopped onion for 2-3 minutes until soft.

Add the beans and sauté for another 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
