Fried squid rings with salt and pepper served with sweet chili sauce is a refined dish of European cuisine, combining the tender texture of squid with a crispy golden crust. Corn flour adds lightness to the batter, while a spice mix including Chinese 'Five Spices' enriches the flavor with depth and richness. Fried in aromatic peanut oil, the squid rings acquire an appetizing crunch, while the sweet chili sauce adds a spicy note. Lemon juice enhances the freshness of the seafood, creating a perfect balance of flavors. This dish is great as an appetizer or light main course, especially when paired with fresh vegetables and white wine.
