Hot dogs in dough spirals

Spiral dough hot dogs are an original European treat that combines simplicity and elegance. The origins of such a snack trace back to street food cuisine, where hot dogs have always been favorites. Here, thanks to the thin twists of dough, the dish gains an appetizing crunch and delicate airiness. Baked to a golden color, the sausages retain their juiciness while the dough has a light flaky texture. This is the perfect treat for parties, picnics, or a quick snack. Serving them with mustard, ketchup, or cheese sauce can add new flavor nuances to the dish. It is easy to prepare and its impressive appearance makes it appealing even to the most discerning gourmets.

1
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Roll out the dough and cut 12 strips, 20 cm long and about 1.5 cm wide.
- Yeast dough: 300 g
2
Take a sausage and wrap a strip of dough around it in a spiral, leaving space between the turns. Secure the edges, lightly brush with vegetable oil, and place on a greased baking sheet. Repeat the same with the remaining sausages.
- Sausages: 12 pieces
- Vegetable oil: to taste
3
Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes, then serve.
