Green chutney is a vibrant and fresh sauce from Indian cuisine that captivates with its blend of aromatic herbs and a hint of tanginess. Its history roots back to traditional Indian kitchens where chutney accompanies dishes to enhance their flavor. The mix of mint, cilantro, and basil gives it a rich herbal aroma, while lime juice and rice vinegar add a subtle tang. The mild heat of green chili and the gentle sweetness of sugar create a balanced taste that complements both meat and vegetarian dishes perfectly. Green chutney pairs excellently with chicken tikka skewers but is also served with samosas, pakoras, and even spread on toast for a refreshing touch. This sauce is true gastronomic magic that enlivens any dish!
