Boil colorful bowtie pasta (or 1 'nest' of thin vermicelli) in salted water. Peel and finely chop 1 medium onion. In a non-stick skillet, heat 1 tsp of vegetable oil and sauté the onion until translucent.

Peel the pumpkin of seeds and skin, and grate it on a coarse grater. Take 1 cup of pumpkin, add it to the pan, mix, pour in a little water, and simmer for about 15 minutes until the pumpkin becomes soft.
