Cheese tartlets are an exquisite appetizer of European cuisine that combines a crispy texture with a rich aroma. They are delicate baskets made of baked parmesan, featuring savory salt and the spiciness of chili pepper. These tartlets require no dough, and their airy structure is created by melting cheese. Historically, cheese baskets were popular in Italian gastronomy as an elegant addition to main dishes. Due to their neutral flavor, they pair perfectly with various savory fillings – from vegetable mixes to meat delicacies. Serving such tartlets will adorn any festive table and delight gourmets with their sophistication.
