Halloumi Cheese Appetizer
1 serving
12 minutes
Halloumi cheese appetizer is a culinary creation where simplicity meets rich flavor. Originating from the Mediterranean, halloumi is known for its dense texture that allows it to brown perfectly on the grill or pan while remaining firm inside. Fried cheese develops a crispy crust outside and softness inside, while spicy seasonings and aromatic adjika add zest to the dish. The appetizer is complemented by a velvety sauce made from mayonnaise and tomato paste, enhancing the creamy notes of the cheese and adding a slight tanginess. It’s an ideal snack for evening gatherings or a unique addition to main courses.
