Eggs in peas are not just a dish but a true festive decoration traditionally associated with the bright holiday of Easter. Russian cuisine is famous for its painted eggs, and this version with a polka dot pattern brings special joy and aesthetic pleasure. It is prepared using food dyes and wax, creating an exquisite pattern on the surface. The taste remains classic – tender boiled eggs lightly seasoned with vinegar and salt, while their shine achieved with vegetable oil makes them particularly attractive on the festive table. This symbolizes rebirth, purity, and spring renewal, bringing warmth and coziness to the family celebration.
