Morels in sour cream is a refined dish of Russian cuisine that delights with its delicate and rich flavor. Morels, known for their rich mushroom aroma, undergo careful processing to reveal their best qualities. Fried in oil, they acquire a golden crust, and the addition of flour makes the texture denser and silkier. Sour cream adds softness and a creamy note to the dish, harmoniously complementing the mushroom flavor. The finishing touch is grated cheese baked to an appetizing crust and fresh parsley that adds a hint of freshness. This dish is perfect for a cozy family dinner or festive table, especially in spring when morels appear in nature.
