Ishli kufta with bulgur is one of the most exquisite and traditional dishes of Armenian cuisine, embodying centuries-old traditions and refined taste. Its roots go back to ancient times when meat, nuts, and bulgur harmoniously combined in Eastern gastronomy dishes. The taste of ishli kufta is rich and intense: tender meat infused with the aromas of melted butter pairs with crunchy nuts and soft, slightly nutty bulgur. Kufta has a unique texture—dense yet tender—with an astonishingly delicate balance of flavors. The dish is often served with lemon to highlight its complex nuances. Ishli kufta can be stored in the freezer, making it convenient for preparation in advance. It is not just food but a true work of art that conveys the spirit of Armenian culinary traditions.
