Fig with salami and nuts is a refined appetizer that embodies the best traditions of Italian gastronomy. Fig, a favorite fruit of the ancient Romans, adds a sweet, honeyed note that perfectly contrasts with the spicy flavor of salami. The addition of walnuts gives the dish richness and a light crunch. This combination of ingredients makes it versatile: it can serve as an elegant start to dinner or accompany a glass of red wine at an aperitif. The simplicity of preparation allows one to enjoy this sophisticated taste without hassle, while the interplay of textures and aromas turns each serving into a small gastronomic masterpiece.

1
Wash and dry the figs. Cut the skin on four sides and separate it from the fruit, but partially, without completely removing it.
- Fig: 4 pieces
2
Make a crosswise cut almost to the end on each fruit, but do not cut all the way through. Slightly open it and insert a piece of salami and 1/4 walnut kernel. Serve immediately.
- Salami: 4 pieces
- Peeled walnuts: 1 piece
