Orange zest cake is a fragrant treat that comes from the rich traditions of Turkish cuisine. Light and airy, it combines the creamy softness of the dough with a refreshing citrus flavor highlighted by the sweetness of raisins. The orange zest adds a sunny touch to the baked goods, filling the home with warmth and coziness. This cake pairs perfectly with a cup of black tea or aromatic coffee, creating an atmosphere of leisurely Turkish tea gatherings. It is made for family get-togethers, celebrations, or simply to delight oneself with something special. Its simplicity makes it accessible even for novice cooks, while its exquisite taste is a true discovery for sweet pastry lovers.
