Vanilla cake with cream is a refined Italian delicacy that captivates with its delicate taste and airy texture. Its layers, infused with the aroma of vanilla, create a perfect union with the silky cream made from cream cheese. This dessert comes from Italian cuisine, where the harmony of flavors is elevated to an art form. The sweetness of powdered sugar, the lightness of egg whites, and the velvetiness of butter make each bite a true gastronomic delight. It is perfect for special occasions – from cozy family celebrations to festive evenings. The cake can be complemented with berries, nuts, or coconut flakes to add individuality. Its softness and tenderness pair wonderfully with a cup of aromatic coffee or tea, turning an ordinary day into a moment of true pleasure.

1
Dough: Take a 15 cm baking pan, grease it with sunflower oil and lightly sprinkle with flour, cut a circle from parchment paper and place it at the bottom of the pan.
- Sunflower oil: 1 tablespoon
- Wheat flour: 225 g
2
Mix the butter (70 g) and sugar until crumbly.
- Butter: 190 g
- Sugar: 270 g
3
In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Wheat flour: 225 g
- Salt: pinch
4
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter-sugar mixture, also gradually add the milk, and mix everything thoroughly until homogeneous.
- Wheat flour: 225 g
- Butter: 190 g
- Sugar: 270 g
- Milk: 1 glass
5
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
6
Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla and egg white to the batter, mixing until smooth.
- Vanilla extract: 4 teaspoons
- Egg white: 1.5 piece
7
Divide the dough into 3 parts and bake them one by one for 25 minutes, checking with a toothpick (it took me a bit less time). Before removing the finished cake from the mold, let it cool for 15 minutes.
8
Mix the remaining butter with powdered sugar until smooth
- Butter: 190 g
- Powdered sugar: 100 g
9
Add cream cheese and vanilla (2 tsp), mix thoroughly or beat with a mixer.
- Cottage cheese: 340 g
- Vanilla extract: 4 teaspoons
10
Spread cream between the layers, and cover the outside of the cake with cream (it's better to use a pastry spatula, but a spatula or knife can also work)
11
The cake base is ready, and you can decorate it with whatever you like: berries, candies, coconut flakes, nuts, etc. You can also add a layer of jam or preserves.
