Cottage cheese dessert with berries and fruits is a delicate, refreshing treat that combines the airy texture of cottage cheese with the juiciness of fruits. Its roots trace back to European cuisine, where light and exquisite desserts are valued. The perfect blend of peach sweetness, banana softness, and berry brightness makes it versatile – it’s great for family breakfasts as well as festive tables. The gelatin structure adds sophistication, turning the dessert into a soft jelly with a rich fruit flavor. Serving it with pieces of fresh or canned fruits makes it not only aesthetically pleasing but also rich in natural vitamins. This treat is especially enjoyable in the summer season when you crave something light and cooling. Thanks to its simple recipe, making it brings joy and offers cozy moments of enjoyment.

1
Open the canned peaches and pour the syrup into a bowl to heat it later. The syrup should be 250 ml; if it's less, just add some water and 2 tablespoons of sugar. The main thing is that the total should not exceed 250 ml!! The syrup should be sweet!
- Canned Peaches: 200 g
- Dr. Oetker Gelatin: 1 piece
- Cottage cheese 1%: 250 g
2
Dissolve the gelatin in the syrup and heat it to 60 degrees. (I usually dissolve the gelatin when the syrup temperature reaches room temperature and bring it to 60 degrees). Once you've done this, set the bowl aside to cool. The syrup should ultimately be at room temperature; otherwise, the cottage cheese we will add will curdle.
3
Take 1% cottage cheese (usually sold in yogurt-like containers, with a yogurt-like consistency) and mix well with syrup. It results in a white liquid resembling milk.

Then you need to cut the bananas and peaches into pieces. If there are large berries like strawberries - cut them too; canned pineapples work as well. I really love adding cherries and blueberries; currants can also be used. Basically, any filler you desire. Put all this in a bowl with the cottage cheese-syrup liquid (sorry for the pun). And of course, refrigerate for about 2 hours.
- Bananas: 1 piece
- Canned Peaches: 200 g
- Fresh berries: to taste

Once you confirm that the jelly has set, you can take it out of the fridge and transfer it to a plate. To easily remove the jelly from the bowl, place the bowl in hot water (in a larger bowl or pan) for 30-50 seconds, and the jelly will easily come away from the edges, allowing you to transfer it to the plate.

In the end, it results in a very tasty, tender, sweet-and-sour dessert.
