Grandma's fish pie is a traditional dish of Russian cuisine that embodies the warmth of home. Its roots go back to the past when fish was an accessible and nutritious base for many dishes. The tender dough is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, hiding a juicy filling of aromatic onions, zesty herbs, and delicate fish fillet. The pie's flavor is harmonious: the light saltiness of the fish complements the creamy tenderness of butter and the airiness of the dough. This pie is perfect for cozy family dinners, festive tables, or simply to treat yourself to something special. Its aroma, infused with childhood memories, fills the home with a sense of comfort and warmth, while the first bite offers true gastronomic delight.
