Lavender cookies are an exquisite treat of French cuisine that harmoniously combines the tenderness and aroma of the blooming fields of Provence. Lavender, long used in French cooking, gives the baked goods a subtle floral flavor that beautifully contrasts with the crispy texture of the dough. These cookies stand out not only for their unusual aroma but also for the refined sweetness of vanilla sugar and caramel notes. They are perfect for an evening tea party, especially when paired with cold milk or apple lemonade. The simplicity of preparation allows one to enjoy the process of creating a true gastronomic masterpiece, while salted butter enhances the richness of flavor. The French appreciate these cookies for their ability to immerse one in the atmosphere of Provençal summer and homey comfort.
