Quick Cinnamon Buns

Cinnamon rolls are a cozy and aromatic treat, perfect for morning coffee or afternoon tea. This recipe originates from traditional European baking, where the combination of cinnamon, sugar, and butter has always symbolized home comfort. Fluffy rolls with tender flaky dough infused with warm spice aromas create a delightful festive feeling. They don't take much time to prepare, and the mascarpone glaze gives the rolls a unique velvetiness and refined taste. Best served fresh while still warm, their crispy crust pairs beautifully with the soft filling. This dessert offers a moment of joy and pleasure to everyone who tries it.

1
Turn the oven to full power, set the rack to the highest position.
2
Roll the dough into a circle about 35 cm in diameter or a square of 30x30 cm.
3
Melt the butter, add cinnamon, 2/3 cup of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of vanillin (can be replaced with vanilla sugar, but I don't know how much to add then).
- Butter: 50 g
- Ground cinnamon: 20 g
- Sugar: 1 glass
- Vanillin: 0.5 teaspoon
4
Evenly (but not excessively) spread the resulting mass on the dough. Roll it into a tight roll - the tighter, the better. Cut into pieces about 1.5 cm high with a very sharp knife.
- Puff pastry: 250 g
5
Line a small baking dish with parchment paper (highly recommended, as cleaning spilled oil from the dish is a nightmare) and evenly place the pastries at least 3 cm apart.
6
Leave in the oven for 10-20 minutes, depending on its power. The readiness can be judged by the golden color of the pastries.
7
When the pastries are ready, take them out and place them on a flat plate. While they cool, prepare the glaze (or sauce).
8
Whip mascarpone (or another cream cheese: Philadelphia, Almette without additives, cottage cheese) with 1/3 cup of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of vanillin using a mixer. Gradually add milk carefully because the cheese can have different densities, and the mixture should resemble liquid sour cream in the end. Add and whip.
- Mascarpone cheese: 500 g
- Sugar: 1 glass
- Vanillin: 0.5 teaspoon
- Milk: 0.3 glass
9
Once the buns cool down, drizzle them with sauce.
