Cottage cheese rose buns are the embodiment of tenderness and airy lightness in Russian cuisine. This exquisite dessert, resembling a blooming rose bud in shape, captivates not only with its beauty but also with its delightful taste. The soft, slightly sweet dough enriched with yeast harmoniously combines with the delicate cottage cheese filling that features the sweetness of sugar and a refined vanilla aftertaste. These buns are especially good for morning tea or as a cozy homemade treat. In Russian culinary tradition, such baked goods were valued for their lightness and appetizing aroma that creates an atmosphere of warmth and family comfort. Rose buns not only please the eye with their exquisite appearance but also bring joy to everyone who tries them.

1
Preparing the filling: Add an egg, vanilla sugar, and sugar (100 g) to the cottage cheese (at room temperature).
- Cottage cheese: 500 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Sugar: 100 g
- Vanilla: to taste
2
Mix everything well (if the cottage cheese is too runny, you can add flour or semolina)
- Cottage cheese: 500 g
3
We make flatbreads from the prepared dough and let them rise a bit.
- Yeast dough: 1 kg
4
Roll out the flatbread, make 3 cuts so that the parts are slightly different, one part a bit larger than the other. Place the filling in the center.
- Cottage cheese: 500 g
5
Wrap one of the three parts (the smallest) around the cottage cheese and secure it. Then do the same with the larger part. Finally, wrap the largest part around.
6
The connection point should be as low as possible, at the base of the buns, otherwise they will fall. We connect as tightly as possible, especially the last part. The 'rose' is ready.
7
We let the buns rise well
8
Add a little milk to the yolk. Mix and brush the buns. Bake at 180°C.
- Milk: to taste
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
