Beat the soft butter at room temperature with sugar into a fluffy, homogeneous mass. Add the yolks and beat again.
- Butter: 130 g
- Brown sugar: 130 g
- Egg yolk: 2 pieces

In a bowl, mix flour with cocoa and cinnamon separately. Add the mixture to the butter mass and beat until a uniform soft dough forms.
- Whole wheat flour: 180 g
- Cocoa powder: 1 tablespoon
- Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon

Put the prepared dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (mark 5). Lightly grease the baking tray with butter.
- Butter: 130 g

Take the dough out of the fridge, knead it and roll it thin (up to 1–0.5 cm). Cut out shapes of Christmas trees, stars, people, snowmen, and other New Year symbols. Carefully transfer the finished cookies to a baking sheet (you can use a spatula). Continue until all the dough is used.

Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes, watching for doneness through the oven window (to prevent burning). Once ready, leave the cookies on the tray for 1 minute, then transfer them to a rack with a spatula to cool completely.

When the cookies cool down, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
