Whole grain crackers are a crispy wonder of Danish cuisine, embodying the coziness and traditions of northern peoples. Their history is rooted in Scandinavian culture, where simple yet nutritious ingredients are valued above all. These crackers have a rich rye and oat flavor complemented by a light fruity note of apple puree. They are perfect for snacking and can be eaten on their own or paired with cheeses, pâtés, and jams. With no sugar and a natural composition, they are an excellent choice for those mindful of their diet. Light, airy yet filling, these crackers are a true symbol of Danish minimalism and quality.

1
We mix two types of flour, sweetener, salt, and baking powder.
- Rye flour: 160 g
- Oat flour: 130 g
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Sugar substitute in tablets: 4 pieces
2
Add apple puree and mix by hand until smooth. It results in a very thick, dry dough.
- Applesauce: 75 g
3
Wrap in film and put in the refrigerator for half an hour.
4
After that, we take it out, roll it out into a thin layer (3-5 mm), and cut out cookies with a mold.
5
Bake on parchment or silicone mat for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (the thicker you roll the dough, the longer it will take). You get delicious crispy cookies.
