Homemade marmalade is a delicate and fragrant treat that evokes cozy evenings and childhood joys. Its history roots back to Russian cuisine, where sweet desserts have always held a special place. In this recipe, gelatin absorbs lemonade, creating a rich consistency, while syrup and citric acid add balance to the sweetness with a slight tartness. The marmalade sets in molds, transforming into soft pieces that are then rolled in sugar for a pleasant crunch. This dessert is perfect for cozy tea gatherings and makes a wonderful addition to handmade gifts. Each piece of homemade marmalade embodies love for simple joys and the art of sweet-making.
