Puff pastry cheese pies

Cheese pies made from puff pastry are a refined dish of Georgian cuisine, embodying the harmony of tender dough and salty suluguni cheese. The recipe's origins trace back to traditional Georgian cheese pastries, where the star is the famous suluguni cheese – elastic, stretchy, with a rich dairy flavor. The puff pastry combined with this cheese creates a crispy, airy texture that unfolds with each bite. These pies are perfect for a cozy family breakfast or a festive feast. They are served hot, with a crispy golden crust and juicy filling, complemented by fresh herbs or a light sauce.
