Cottage cheese casserole with semolina and apples is a true embodiment of coziness and home warmth, originating from Russian cuisine. The delicate, airy texture of the cottage cheese base perfectly complements the light sweetness of apples and subtle notes of vanilla and lemon. Semolina adds softness and density to the casserole, while cinnamon provides a warm, spicy aroma. This dish is ideal for breakfast or a cozy family tea time. It can be served warm or chilled, complemented with sour cream, honey, or berries. The casserole not only delights with its taste but also has nutritional value due to the protein and calcium-rich cottage cheese. It is a simple yet exquisite baked good that evokes childhood memories and traditions of home cooking.
