One of the most important homemade cakes in the country. You will need a lot of sour cream, and you need to know the following about it: some of the sour cream will go into the dough, and some into the cream. In the first case, you can get by with the first sour cream you come across, in the second, it is better to take the one you like the most, since all its advantages, as well as disadvantages, will be obvious in the cream.

Melt the butter.
- Butter: 50 g

Beat the eggs with sugar (1 cup) and melted butter until a pale fluffy mass.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Sugar: 2 glasss
- Butter: 50 g

Add sour cream (200 g), baking soda, vanillin, and flour.
- Sour cream: 600 g
- Soda: 0.3 teaspoon
- Vanillin: pinch
- Wheat flour: 1.5 glass

If desired, divide the dough into two parts and add cocoa to one of them to make two-colored layers.
- Cocoa: to taste

Pour the batter into a greased pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 160 degrees.

For the cream, whip 400 g of sour cream with 1 tablespoon of sugar (until fully dissolved).
- Sour cream: 600 g
- Sugar: 2 glasss

Let the baked layers cool. Cut the layers into pieces.

Generously coat with cream, layer them on top of each other, and let them soak for 3-5 hours.

Decorate the top of the cake with fruits, chocolate, nuts, poppy seeds, or whatever you love.
