Lavash pie with meat filling is a delightful combination of airy dough and aromatic meat filling. This recipe is inspired by the traditions of Eastern European cuisine, where thin dough and rich meat fillings meet in a perfect duet. Tender Armenian lavash soaked in sour cream sauce serves as the base for a spicy filling with onions, garlic, and hot chili. Basil, oregano, and nutmeg add depth of flavor to the dish, while cheese gives it a pleasant stretchiness. Baked in a 'snail' shape, the pie looks impressive and appetizing. It is perfect for a cozy family dinner or festive table, and its rich taste will leave no one indifferent.

Finely chop the onion, sauté in olive oil over low heat until soft. Add the minced meat and fry, stirring, until the color of the meat changes.
- Onion: 1 piece
- Ground beef: 400 g

Whisk the eggs and two tablespoons of sour cream, add hot sauce (I have 'Bamboo Stem - Hot Chili').
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Sour cream: 500 g
- Sweet and hot sauce: 3 tablespoons

Finely chop the garlic and chili peppers (with seeds if you want a spicier dish, or without them).
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Red Long Chili Pepper: 2 pieces

Add chopped peppers and garlic to the minced meat fried with onions, a couple of tablespoons of sauce, and simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring. Season with salt and add spices to taste - I used basil, oregano, and nutmeg.

Blend the minced meat with vegetables into a puree.

Unroll the lavash sheet (I have a standard size of 80 by 40 cm), evenly spread the remaining sour cream, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Spread the meat puree in a thin layer, leaving about 2 cm from the edges.
- Armenian lavash: 1 piece
- Sour cream: 500 g
- Cheese: 200 g
- Ground beef: 400 g

Roll the lavash with the filling into a roll and let it soak for 15 minutes.

Place the roll in a mold, twist it into a 'snail', and generously pour the remaining sauce from point 2 on top.
- Sweet and hot sauce: 3 tablespoons

Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for about half an hour.
