Layered sticks with cheese and cumin are a crispy treat of European cuisine, combining buttery dough, rich cheese flavor, and spicy notes of cumin. The dish's origins trace back to baking traditions where simple ingredients were transformed into exquisite snacks. The ease of preparation makes these sticks perfect for cozy home evenings or festive gatherings. The crispy dough, slightly caramelized from baking, harmonizes with the gooey cheese and aromatic cumin, creating a delightful textural play. They can be served with sauces, used as an elegant appetizer for wine, or simply enjoyed at any time of the day.
