Khachapuri with garlic is a fragrant Georgian dish that combines tender dough, salty cheese, spicy cheese, and the rich flavor of garlic. Its roots go back to the ancient traditions of Georgia's mountainous regions, where khachapuri was considered a symbol of hospitality. The feature of this version is the pronounced garlic note that gives the flatbread spiciness and an appetizing aroma. The kefir-based dough makes the dish airy and soft, while the filling is hearty and rich. Khachapuri with garlic is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a friendly gathering, emphasizing warmth and homely comfort. It is best served hot with fresh vegetables and herbs to fully reveal its flavor.
