Crepes rolled with cottage cheese and caviar are an elegant dish of Russian cuisine, combining the tenderness of crepe batter, the creaminess of cottage cheese, and the salty taste of caviar. The thinnest crepes, infused with a light buttery aroma, serve as a base for a refined filling. Fresh green onions not only garnish the dish but also add a hint of spiciness. These rolls are perfect for both festive gatherings and morning treats. Historically, pancakes in Russia symbolized the sun and warmth, while their combination with caviar signifies abundance and hospitality. This recipe is an exquisite example of harmony between simple and noble ingredients creating a unique flavor.
