Sour cream cake with raisins is a delicate and aromatic pastry from European cuisine. Its softness is ensured by sour cream, while sweet notes are highlighted by raisins and vanilla sugar. Historically, such cakes emerged as homemade pastries that are easy to prepare and incredibly cozy. The cake's flavor harmoniously combines the light tang of sour cream with the caramel notes of baked raisins, and its airy texture makes it an ideal complement to morning coffee or evening tea. With simple ingredients, it is perfect for family gatherings and festive tables, while a light dusting of powdered sugar adds aesthetic completeness.

1
First, wash 100 grams of raisins well and soak them in a small amount of boiling water while preparing everything else. The water should slightly cover the raisins, and the container should be covered with a lid.
- Raisin: 50 g

Beat the eggs with sugar. Add sour cream and a little salt, mix. Add melted butter. Quench the baking soda in vinegar and add to the mixture. Gradually add flour to make the dough moderately thick, about like for pancakes. Then fold in the raisins.
