Crispy homemade waffles are a delightful treat with a subtle vanilla aroma and a crunchy golden crust. Inspired by Greek traditions, they evoke old recipes of delicate pastries served with tea or as a base for desserts. Light and airy, they pair perfectly with sweetened condensed milk, ice cream, and berries, turning into a true gastronomic pleasure. Their versatility allows for experimentation with shapes and fillings—tubes, cones, or delicate sheets of wafers. The simplicity of preparation makes this recipe a favorite in home cooking, while the aroma of fresh baking fills the home with comfort and warmth.
