Cherry sorbet is a refreshing treat with a rich fruity flavor that comes from Arabic cuisine. Historically, sorbets were popular among Eastern aristocrats who enjoyed them on hot days. This version, made from ripe cherries, has a rich sweetness with a slight citrus tang from lemon juice. Its delicate, velvety texture makes it an ideal finish to a meal or a pleasant cooling dessert in hot weather. It can be served alone or complemented with mint leaves and fresh berries to enhance the refreshing effect. This sorbet is not only delicious but also healthy — it is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, making it a great choice for summer treats.
