Lenten Banana Buns

A dessert for those who set limits for themselves. These buns contain no yeast, sugar, eggs, or dairy products, the dough holds its shape due to the sticky properties of flaxseed flour, and the sweetness comes from the banana pulp. Of course, this doesn't turn them into a magical dietary product, but it's nice to know.

1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in bake mode from top and bottom.
2
Soak dry flax in 3 tablespoons of boiling water to release the slime.
- Flax seeds: 2 tablespoons
3
Mash the bananas, add odorless vegetable oil, and then add flaxseed meal.
- Bananas: 2 pieces
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
- Flax seeds: 2 tablespoons
4
Mix the dry ingredients separately: sifted flour, flakes, powder, salt, nuts.
- Wheat flour: 1.5 glass
- Oat flakes: 1 glass
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
- Salt: 0.3 teaspoon
- Nut crumbs: 0.3 glass
5
Add banana puree to the flour mixture. Get the dough. If it is too stiff or the flour is not moist, you can add a little warm boiled water. The dough should be of a consistency that allows you to shape buns by hand.
- Bananas: 2 pieces
- Water: 3 tablespoons
6
Line the baking tray with parchment paper. Grease with vegetable oil. With wet hands, take small pieces (1.5 tablespoons) of dough and shape them into rolls of any form (round, rectangular, or small sticks).
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
7
Decorate the buns with oatmeal and bake for 20-25 minutes, checking that they are cooked through and not left raw.
- Oat flakes: 1 glass
