Airy Buttermilk Biscuits with Chives

Airy buttermilk biscuits with chives are a delicate and aromatic treat from Chinese cuisine. Buttermilk gives the dough an extraordinary lightness and softness, while fresh chives add a savory note. The combination of butter and baking powder makes the biscuits airy with a crispy golden crust. They can be served as a standalone dish or as an accompaniment to soups and meat dishes. They are especially good warm when the creamy texture is fully revealed, and the aroma of fresh onion pleasantly complements the overall flavor. These biscuits are an ideal choice for a cozy home dinner or a small culinary experiment.
