Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips are an amazing combination of crunchy texture and gentle sweetness. In Thai cuisine, they symbolize the harmony of traditional ingredients and modern taste preferences. Oats give the cookies a pleasant density, while dark chocolate adds richness and a slight bitterness. The light vanilla aroma makes it especially cozy. It’s the perfect choice for morning coffee or evening tea time. The cookies are easy to make, but each crumb is filled with the warmth of home baking. They are ideal as a standalone dessert or as an addition to fruit desserts. Enjoy this treat when you crave something sweet but not too sugary.

1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
2
Beat the softened margarine with sugar.
- Margarine: 150 g
- Sugar: 200 g
3
Then add the egg and mix well.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
4
In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt).
- Wheat flour: 125 g
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla sugar: to taste
- Salt: pinch
5
Carefully add them to the margarine with sugar and eggs. Almost immediately add the oats and finely chopped chocolate, otherwise it will be very difficult to mix them into the resulting mass later. Mix everything well.
- Hercules: 200 g
- Dark chocolate: 100 g
6
Scoop the obtained mass onto a baking sheet with a teaspoon (1 teaspoon = 1 cookie). You don't need to press down on top — they will take the desired shape by themselves.
7
Place the baking sheet in the oven for 15-25 minutes until the edges of the cookies are golden.
8
Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool before serving. The cookies will reach the right consistency.
